The Schoolhouse Surgery will be holding an informal drop in session in the practice on Monday 11th March at 6.30-7:30pm  where there will be a member of practice staff available to answer any questions in relation to the practice merging with the, Bollington Medical Centre, Priorslegh Medical Centre and McIlvride Practices

From 1st October 2018 The Schoolhouse Surgery is offering appointments under the Improved Access Scheme. Some appointments are available. Please contact the surgery for further information or click on this link

Please note - in line with updated guidelines - please allow up to 72 hours for repeat prescriptions to be processed. We will always endeavour to process prescriptions in a timely manner.

Please do not request prescriptions earlier than 10 days before the repeat is due as these will not be processed and may be rejected unless a valid reason is given

Appointments may be booked in advance, but we also operate a same day appointment system. Please help us by being as flexible as possible with your appointment time.

The administrative team can arrange for forms to be completed and/or signed by the doctor; an appointment is not needed for this purpose. Contact the team for any information you require about referrals, medical reports, etc.

You also have the option of a telephone consultation with a doctor or nurse at certain times of the day.

If you need to speak in confidence with a member of staff, you can request a more private space away from the reception area.

Urgent Appointments

If you feel your condition is urgent an appointment will be made available to you on the day with the first available doctor, if you call the surgery before 12.00 noon. A sick child will always be fitted in as soon as possible with one of the doctors on duty.
